About Plantfood Coaching

Plants instinctively know how to grow.

Give them soil, sunlight and water and they’ll find their way.

But sometimes they need a little extra support — during a growth spurt, or when their environment becomes depleted. A dose of plant food helps them grow stronger roots, brighter leaves and more vibrant blooms.

People are the same.

Each of us has an innate capacity to develop, adapt and flourish. With the right support, insight and encouragement, we can grow a little taller, shine a little brighter, and bear even more fruit.

That’s why we named our company after that little brown bottle you reach for when your plants need a boost.

We provide the Plantfood.

Our clients do the growing.

Why we do this work

Plantfood Coaching was founded by Katie Kendall and Sara Jubb, after long careers in demanding corporate environments where performance mattered but where people often paid the price.

We’ve both seen what happens when growth is pursued without enough care for wellbeing, identity or connection. We’ve also seen how powerful it is when people are supported to grow in ways that are sustainable, human and aligned with who they are.

We care deeply about helping individuals and organisations create conditions where people don’t just cope, but genuinely thrive – especially in complex, high-pressure or mission-led environments.

This work matters to us because we’ve lived the difference it can make.

Our Values

Growth

We believe people do their best work when they feel they’re moving towards something that matters. Growth doesn’t have to be relentless; it just needs to be meaningful.

Wellbeing

Sustainable success depends on physical, mental and financial wellbeing. We focus on small, realistic actions that build healthy habits over time, not quick fixes or grand gestures, but genuine support to everyone.

Connection

Positive human connection is essential to a healthy workplace. When people feel safe to be themselves, relationships strengthen, managers lead more effectively and organisations perform better.

Wisdom

Every individual already possesses the wisdom they need to move forward. Our role is to help uncover it — removing obstacles, challenging limiting beliefs and creating space for insight.

How we Work

We approach coaching with care, curiosity and respect for the realities of people’s lives and work.

Our frameworks are designed to support real humans in real contexts – balancing ambition with capacity, and growth with wellbeing. We don’t believe in forcing people to fit a model. We believe in creating the right conditions for them to grow in their own way.

If you’re here, you’re probably asking: “Do I trust these people with my staff — or myself?” We hope this page gives you a sense of who we are, what we care about, and how seriously we take that responsibility.
